Swave is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard, and we are actively working to address these areas.

What We've Done

We have taken a number of steps to improve accessibility across the Swave website, including:

  • Added descriptive alt text to all product images and visual content

  • Ensured sufficient colour contrast between text and background throughout the site

  • Used clear, consistent heading structures to aid screen reader navigation

  • Made all interactive elements — buttons, links, and forms — keyboard accessible

  • Ensured all form fields include visible labels and helpful error messages

  • Designed the site to be fully responsive and functional on mobile devices

  • Avoided content that flashes or blinks rapidly to reduce risk for users with photosensitive conditions

  • Provided text alternatives where non-text content is used

Known Limitations

While we strive for full accessibility, we are aware of some current limitations we are working to resolve:

  • Some older product images may not yet have fully descriptive alt text — we are updating these progressively

  • Certain third-party embedded elements, such as payment widgets, may not fully meet our accessibility standards as they are outside our direct control

  • Some complex interactive components may not yet be fully optimised for all screen readers
